Common use

Dosage and direction
The dosage depends on the condition being treated and the formulation prescribed (inhaler, capsule, or enema). Precautions

Missed dose

Overdose
Overdose is unlikely with inhaled budesonide but can occur with prolonged excessive use. Symptoms may include increased fatigue, muscle weakness, or hormonal imbalance. Storage
Store budesonide at room temperature (20°C to 25°C / 68°F to 77°F), away from moisture and heat. Keep inhalers or capsules tightly closed and out of reach of children. Do not freeze or expose to direct sunlight. Discard any expired medication properly.
